About Us

Speciality Ugandan Coffee

In the green hills of Kichwamba, Rubirizi District, Crowned Crane Barista begins with carefully handpicked coffee cherries grown by dedicated local farmers.
 Traditional processing methods, fertile soils, and the fresh air of Western Uganda create a coffee with natural sweetness, bright citrus notes, exceptional character and fully traceable.

The women of the Kichwamba Coffee Sisters Association play a central role in every harvest. Through careful drying, sorting, and processing, they help maintain the consistency and quality required for specialty-grade coffee while building stronger livelihoods and financial independence.

Cultivated in high-altitude conditions between 1,200–1,800 meters above sea level, and with select lots above 1,700 m.a.s.l., the slow bean development produces dense, hard Arabica beans with refined complexity and a balanced, fine spicy, floral, and fruity finish

Like the graceful Grey Crowned Crane, Crowned Crane Barista represents pride, quality, and authenticity.

It gives me great pleasure to contribute to the community with the best coffee and a place to build relationships.
